Something wrong with the clutch?
so I have the issue where sometimes it just takes a lot of force to get in and out of gears. Especially second gear and reverse. When the engine is cold it usually shifts like butter. But the more I drive. The harder it seems to get. It shifts fine when the engine is turned off. So I know it isn’t syncros. There is no air in the clutch system. But I have noticed one thing.
Mid you look at the clutch petal itself. There are rubber stoppers in front and behind of it. When the clutch petal is all the way up, it’s still like an eighth of an inch away from that rear stopper. And when starting, I have to push the clutch to where I can feel it on the stopper, And then push it further than that. I mean that might not have anything to do with my problem but I figured it was worth mentioning.
