Rear end project
I bought a 95 f150 knowing that the posi in the rear end was shot. I've got stuck in the snow a few times. I've been trying to wait till spring to do some work on it. after posting on the forum about my options, someone suggested an aussie or powertrax locker. Easy installation for a good price, and ive heard they work well. I noticed a few times when I place the truck in park on hills (hood pointing down the hill) that it rolls a bit. more than the usual 3-4 inches. At first I thought it was ice but then I decided to throw it in park. I got out and looked at my rear wheels still turning 3-4 FEET down the slope. (I had a friend in the driver seat just in case it didn't stop, Im not that dumb) so now im wondering if I need a whole rear end rebuild. I've worked on a lot of cars and built 2 engines, but differentials are something I've never touched. cause ive never had to. Its the 8.8
Let me know what you think. Thanks

What's wrong with your park brake? And if its rolling in park that far I wouldn't doubt if your parking pawl is messed up. What transmission do you have?
