Pump in my rear tank is little more than 3 months old and has failed again *sigh* Gonna have to r & r one more time...
Really scared me as starving of fuel made it buck and clunk pretty violently and throw check engine light, huge relief when simply switching tanks cured it hehe

I see failures with all brands
I have gotten bad pumps out of AC Delco boxes over the GM parts counter so often, I will not install a new GM pump without testing it first
I have replaced so many new Ford pumps in Taurus that I can do them in the dark in 40 minutes
Mercedes pumps are no better, fail regularly
