Default OD light flashing!

swapped out my E4OD for a 4r70w trans. used e4od computer. everything works fine. but after 30 seconds of run time the od light flashing and all the shifts just go to...... crap what would cause this?

I don't have the OSS sensor hooked up as my e4od does not have wiring for that. and a few people told me to just leave it or some how put a 20 ohm resistor in the line!

also If you shift it manually it shifts fine? Im lost and don't know what to do as of now, I have the computer for the 95' 4r70w would this correct it all? and if so what will have to change on my 96' as its OBD2 and the 95' is not

my 4r70w only has 3 plugs:

Drivers side:
-Shift select
-OSS sensor directly above it ( 2 wires )

Passenger side:
-goes "down" into the transmission pan

My trans does not have a VSS sensor I don't think... There usually half way up and close to tail shaft of the trans. not?

Ill take pictures in morning.

The sensor has 2 wires and goes into the harness connectors on drivers inner fender. The E4OD does not have this sensor, And I doubt you can wire the sensor into its harness?

Hey bud, Okay so here's the picture. the sensor circled is the OSS sensor. My E4OD plugs do not have the wiring to support this ( I don't think )

Then you need the wiring harness.
