Default Motor mounts

Hello, I recently pulled my truck's engine and while doing so I noticed the motor mounts were in rough shape. I figured this would be a good time to replace them. I was hoping for some product suggestions. I looked a bit at summit and there was an OEM replacement and a steel option and that's all I could find on there. I plan on doing rubber ones for now and maybe one day down the road doing polyurethane ones. I am open to suggestions for both.

Thank you

Solid mounts are bad for the engine, the frame, & the occupants. Original-style mounts invariably break; especially if they're cheap copies, but even those sold by Ford. These can't:

Thanks, do those create any pedal vibrations or are they pretty smooth?

All the trucks I've put them in (mine & a few local ones) are MUCH smoother with these. But it was never in the pedals - they're not rigidly connected to the engine or trans. It was in the frame, as the engine clunked back & forth on the broken mounts. I haven't heard any complaints about the ones I've shipped.

About the same as Ford/MotorCraft mounts (which still break). Email me from that photo website or the PM I just sent you.

Yes the mounts eventually break and aftermarket units are junk. It may take another twenty years to break an OEM replacement mount. On my 87, I only had to replace a rear transmission mount. The engine mounts are original, I have checked them, they are not broken, hold the engine stable when tested and myself, my passengers or engine have not been harmed by my engine mounts.Perhaps a negligent driver who ignores the signs of bad mounts can damage something because the engine wants to hop out of its cradle..

It took me less than 5. But I actually use my trucks like trucks.

Then you must never have approached the engine's maximum torque.

You're not reading carefully. I didn't say original-style mounts would do that.

The original mounts are solid, sure sounds like you are saying they too are "bad" for the occupants.Maybe if someone sticks their hand between the engine and a broken mount.Sounds like your just trying to make a quick buck on your "redesigned" mounts.
