Motor mounts
Hello, I recently pulled my truck's engine and while doing so I noticed the motor mounts were in rough shape. I figured this would be a good time to replace them. I was hoping for some product suggestions. I looked a bit at summit and there was an OEM replacement and a steel option and that's all I could find on there. I plan on doing rubber ones for now and maybe one day down the road doing polyurethane ones. I am open to suggestions for both.
Thank you
Thank you
Solid mounts are bad for the engine, the frame, & the occupants. Original-style mounts invariably break; especially if they're cheap copies, but even those sold by Ford. These can't:

All the trucks I've put them in (mine & a few local ones) are MUCH smoother with these. But it was never in the pedals - they're not rigidly connected to the engine or trans. It was in the frame, as the engine clunked back & forth on the broken mounts. I haven't heard any complaints about the ones I've shipped.

It took me less than 5. But I actually use my trucks like trucks. Then you must never have approached the engine's maximum torque. You're not reading carefully. I didn't say original-style mounts would do that.
