Low Fuel Pressure Before Startup-1989 5.0
So I'm trying to figure out the problem with the possible fuel problem with my 89 5.0.
I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the rail:
Ignition On - ~10PSI
Engine Running - ~38PSI
The other thing is that the truck has no residual fuel pressure and it drops down to 10PSI instantly then eventually goes to 0PSI in about 45 seconds.
There is a long cranking process to get the car running but there is no smoking. There is some surging in rpm during cold starts and during this the truck may stall out.
Also, the truck has been accelerating poorly
Any help on this?
