Default ignition control modual

i am trying to fix a ford f 150 stick 4 speed 6 inline 4.9 l i got a crank no start electrical issue no spake to plugs or coil followed in back to the ignition control modual no spake there ether where do i go from here

You don't give the year of your truck, but with a 4 speed I assume it's a 1991 or older with the ignition module on the side of the distributor.

I would remove the ignition module and have it tested. You need a special tool to remove the ignition module from the side of the distributor, a sort of skinny nose socket.

Again i am assuming your truck is a 1991 or older and a 1987 or newer. It's very common for the ignition module to fail on those year trucks.

yes it is an 89 ford f-150 i replaced the module yes i bought the tool, thats not the problem. There is no spark running to the module it,s self so what should i be looking next? i am trying to follow the problem backwards. Also thank you for the advice

Do you have power getting up to the coil through one of the small wires that hook onto the coil? Be sure to turn the ignition switch on when you check.
