Went to open my hood this morning and when I pulled on the hood release handle on the inside of the truck the cable broke and I can not open the hood

 

Reach through the grill just left of center (driver's side), feel the cable going into the latch, reach behind the shield, follow the cable to the lever (there's a square plastic keeper on the peg), and either push the lever left to release the latch, or pull the remains of the cable out of the sheath and use that. You can also try to get a probe into the latch hook and pull it to the left.
