Default Exaust.

Hi. I have a 91 f150 with the 351 5.8. I got it a few weeks ago. And when I bought it, it didn't have much for the exhaust. It looks to be cut off after the catalytic converter. I want to put some sort of exhaust on it because I don't want to get any tickets. So what is the best/cheapest way to go. Because I think the catalytic converter is clogged up, I have been considering hollowing out the cat but I have heard rumors that doing that causes a horrible smell and lethal gasses. Is that true?? I'm wondering where to go whit this any input would be great.

go ahead and hollow out the cat if you dont have emissions testing. The JY is likely the cheapest route to get an exhaust, but i bet a good shop could install a cheapo muffler and pipe for $200.
