Default e4od question

I have a 95 f150 with a e4od. I heard somewhere that driving with the 4-ways on will damage the transmission. Is there any truth to this?

They said something about it being a design flaw. Some selenoid that runs off the brake lights activates everytime they and it would screw it up if I drove with em on. Or some crap like that. I just want to make sure im good. Lol

theres not any recalls or service bullitens on that that i can see. somethings you hear on the interwebs lol the brakes are not even tied into the transmission other then a switch telling the lights its in park the directionals are on a different curcut completly. i think your fine.

Lololololol! Not laughing at you, but the guy who told you that. Do you like driving with your flashers on or something? Cause it sounds like they were messing with you.

Im just usually the guy who gets called when someone needs thier car towed home. I usually run my flashers while towing a car with a chain. The guy who told me is a self proclaimed "master mechanic" needless to say, I wont let him touch my vehicles. Lol

It would be like saying your blinkers hurt the transmission.
