Default Dana44 ttb question?

I'm wondering if I can use dana 50 ttb axle shafts in my dana 44 ttb to make it alittle stronger till I do the sas swap? I know they make choromoly shafts that are strong but if they make them for dana 50 ttb and they fit the 44 seems smart too use them if they work. Thanks

I think about the only thing the 44 and 50 share are the gears if I remember correctly.

I think the pig from a Dana 50 TTB will bolt onto a Dana 44 TTB arm. I could be wrong on that though.

A buddy of mines selling dana 50 ttb and 10.25 with 4.11 gears for $400. If I didn't just regear my axles I would be looking into a swap
