Default NO tranny drain plug?

I have a 1987 Ford F150 with the manual 4 speed transmission and the 4.9l I6. I want to change the transmission fluid because it has a hard time shifting between 1st and 2nd (unless at a the right RPM). Turns out, I have NO drain plug.

How in the world do I replace the fluid without a drain plug? Is that even normal?

Do you guys know what transmission this would be? I googled it and I think its a T-18, but I have no idea. It has 4 gears. The 1st is like a granny gear.

Thanks in advance.
