Default Clutch Problems

I am starting to have some serious problems with the transmission of my truck. It is the 5 speed manual, the problem is I am having a very hard time putting it into reverse. I am also having a really hard time finding gears when I am trying to drive forward. Now I have never replaced a clutch before, but I want some advise before I go to a mechanic, does this sound like a clutch problem or is there something wrong with my transmission.

Is it really hard to get it into gear? or is it grinding?

If its just hard to shift it INTO gear and nothing is grinding, i would suggest adjusting the clutch pedal first.

mine did that. it got worse and worse to the point that i could not push it into any gear. it did not grind. forcing it caused my slave solenoid to blow. after replacing it it did the same thing. Only changed once the clutch pedal was adjusted. No problems since.

Did your clutch pedal engage near the floor? if so, adjust it out a little bit(i put mine in the middle of the pedal travel).
