Default Broken linkage

With my most recent truck purchase i noticed the 4wd shift linkage to the transfer case was hanging loose.... I thought i was just going to need a new nut or a cotter pin. But upon further inspection i saw that the pressed bolt was sheared off.... So i managed to get the linkage off to remove it, when i found it was pressed in. So in lieu of pressing that out and pressing a new one in, i used a grinder to cut it off and punch it out.

I then sanded it down and wire wheeled it (not shown) to out a few coats of enamel paint on it to keep it from rusting.

It actually increased the size of the hole by a few millimeters and i had to step up the size of bolt it needed.
Once the paint was dry i went ahead and put it back into action. Used a 10mm bolt with washers and two nuts to lock it into place.
Shifts like it should now.

Upon fixing the linkage i was able to put into 4wd but it surfaced some other issues.... I will discuss that in a new thread though.
