im currently gathering parts for a 4wd swap. the 4wd parts are going in a 89 5.0 auto with a c6. I bought a 92 donor with a e40d and push button hubs and t case engage. the previous owner of the donor truck pulled the e4od out along with the tcase. the tcase is now m.i.a. im having the e40d rebuilt at a local tranny shop. the question I have is can I make the push button stuff work in my truck or is it a lost cause? also what t case would be most compatible with a e40d and the 89 model truck its going in?
