I'm finally finishing my 4x4 conversion and I have a few questions I need to have answers for. Can I use my stock transmission cross member? What's the driveshaft length on a swb single cab 5speed 4x4? And does any modifying of the transfercase shifter need with a body lift?

I haven't got to the cab part on the 3" body lift but the directions state :
Manual transmission: The shifter
should simply drop down into the floor; some
modifications to the floorboard may be
necessary. The hydraulic clutch line may need to
be removed from the clip on the body. Transfer
case: The linkage should drop down in the
floorboard. The floor board may need to be
modified after lifting operation is complete. "Shift
on the fly" is electronically controlled and should
require no modification.

Are you asking about the front or rear driveshaft ?

I already have the BL on and a 8 in suspension I just wanna know about frnt and rear shaft and what I should do about the shift (which already had problems when I got it) so I'm going to rig my own shift mechanism.
