Well depending on what engine you have, your best bet is to find a donor truck...preferably with the same engine, that way you get everything you need.

Well I finished my 351 swap a few weeks ago, but my truck started life with a 300 six under the hood. So like I said earlier, you need to find a donor truck. You could use an F250 with a 351 manual as a donor, that way you get the brake/clutch pedal assembly, the ECM, flywheel, driveshaft, and so on, but the gearbox is going to be the ZF trans with a granny low gear. Personally I like the M5OD Mazda gearbox with my 351....

Your other choice is to find a donor with a 302, and Mazda 5 speed, but you'll need to find a 28 oz flywheel for that 351 because the 302's flywheel balance won't work on the 351....

The driveshaft is the least of your worries; if you had to, you could take your auto driveshaft to a repair shop and they could replace the auto yoke with one for a manual....

LOL, his original post is specifically asking about finding a driveshaft - so it's definitely what he is worried about.

Your best bet is to do a junkyard search at car-part.com. You will need to specify the year, make, model, manual transmission, 4x2, and your wheelbase (139" if it is extended cab short bed). I am guessing with that configuration it will be a 2 piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing. If your current configuration with the automatic transmission has a 2 piece driveshaft, then technically you would only need the front half of the rear driveshaft (transmission to carrier bearing), because the length from the carrier bearing to the rear diff will be the same on both.
