YMMV

Get rid of the gawdy snow tires off the back and put regular 235/75R15 tires with good tread and increase your mileage

To the original poster, if you have 3.08 gears and put in the five speed, your best cruising speed will be around 53 to 55 miles per hour. You will have to dedicate your driving habits to slow starts, slow stopping, and just slow over all speed if you want to maximize your miles per gallon.

Yeah right. I don't generally run at idle RPMs when cruising at highway speed.

The snows I have on cost me about 0.5 to 1.0 Mpg over the "all weather" that were on there. The biggest limitation is they can build up heat at high speed (over 70) and dry weather traction can be an issue. I run them from October to May.
