Hello everyone, not sure how to proceed on the issue I found with my 1996 f150 5.0 The truck has a slow coolant leak and all the signs pointed to the timing cover gasket so after removing the cover and noticed the camshaft gear has the timing mark upside side down. After pulling off the timing gears and chain it looks like the camshaft is upside down. Not sure if I should rotate the camshaft 180 degrees or If should just put everything back the way it is?

I have included pictures so if I am mistaken please let me know. I just recently purchased the truck, it was an old farm truck so I don’t know if the engine has ever been messed with. The truck seemed to run fine the way it is not sure what would happen if I rotated the camshaft so it lines up with the crankshaft.
