Squeaking brakes after replacing ebrake cable
So I replaced both rear ebrake cables in my 92 f150. This involves taking off just about every component. Once I put it back together I bottomed out the adjuster to it’s smallest position to avoid and scraping at first to see where I was at. Well it seemed good until I started driving it again and now I have a high pitched squealing. Any ideas on what caused this and how to fix it before I lift my car in an airmen parking lot again?

If you could upload a couple of clear pics of the brake assemblies with the drums off, might be able to give more direction. Offhand, would suggest something isn't installed correctly and is rubbing on the drum.

After fully-retracting them, did you spin the adjusters back OUT so the drums would barely fit over the shoes?

It sounds like you didn't assemble the brakes properly. Did you grease them? Read this page & the NEXT dozen:
