Default Shocks

I need to get new shocks for my 95 Supercab Flareside 4x4 what brands do you guys recommend for these trucks? And does Motorcraft still make the front shocks? Tasca says they've been discontinued.. And it has the single shock in the front not the quad shocks

The sky is the limit on shocks. I went with the standard Monroe shocks sold at my local auto parts store for my 1991 F150 4X4. Huge improvement over the factory originals and cheap to buy

This. I wouldn't even bother with motorcraft shocks.

I put KYB Excel-G shocks all the way around and couldn't be happier with them.

Think I paid about $160 for 6 of them from rockauto.

I've had them for about 6 months now. They replaced factory shocks that had 195K miles on them, so the difference was night and day.

Don't know about the gas or oil question you will have to check out their website.

I also put KYB Excel-G on my truck and I have been pleased with them. My truck is a short bed 2 wheel drive however.
There was a $40 dollar rebate if you bought four shocks which is why I chose them. I don't know if the rebate is still on.
