OK, how about calling it a lubricant instead?
Let it dry?
Never heard of that, how long will the lube take to dry?

What was the issue? I just replaced my front brakes and rotors and did not hear a squeal. Interested to know what the issue was.

Because I Am feeling a bit stupid I must have bent one of the clips out a little and it was actually rubbing on the inside of the rim.
Thanks

Your lucky, I once had a new clip break somehow and a piece got into the new rotor and damaged the new rotor. Not bad but put a groove in it. I don't know how, Advanced auto said might have been defected.
It was a new clip and rotor, they gave me another rotor and clips. I just had to do it all over again.
Yeah, follow up, it might help someone else in the future.
