Question Need advice/help

hey guys New to the forum and just looking for some advice. I adopted my old 88 ranch truck it's 2wd.. and want to make it into a little project truck.

What I need help on deciding is whether or not I should go with a 4in or 6in lift kit. What brand

What else would I need that Is not included in the kits themselves such as extended brake lines being regeered ect...

And also the experiences y'all have had with each and some pics of yalls or friends trucks that are similar. This is my first truck build usually my brother and I stick to cars.

Thanks for all the advice and everything guys :thumbsup

i dont know about a two wheel drive, since the front end sits lower than a 4x4. but most kits come with everything your gonna need to do the lift, you will have to take the truck to get an alignment done though. be sure to get an adjustable camber bushing so your trucks front end doesnt look like this \.../. imho id leave the lift alone. and focus on some fixing it up, get it running well. if you still insist on doing the lift id suggest doing a search in the forum. this topic is a typical one it always comes up.

Go 6", because once you do the 4 it won't be enough.
