looking to convert my 94 f1502wd to crew cab?

Default looking to convert my 94 f1502wd to crew cab?

I am wondering If i get A 92-96 f250/f350 crew cab are the front suspension mounts and rear leaf mounts the same? I am wanting to put my lightning drivetrain under it and swap interiors and find a 2nd lightning buckets? In essence having a crew cab gen 1 lightning.... Any help?

To expand, the mounts are completely different, and the frame is alot heavier. You'd probably hate the lack of power you'd feel with a 351w trying to push that big crewcab and frame around. If you wanted to make it bad enough though, and can fabricate at all, I'd personally suggest getting a cab alone from a crewcab and extending your current frame.

Well the lightning uses a 4x4 frame from the factory? thats reinforced....

I thought the 3/4 used i beams just like the 1/2 tons?

ohh well maybe ill find a clean bab and call up art morrison or have a local fabricator make me a frame

I think that would be your best bet. I'm not saying the 3/4 ton frame wouldn't work, but it would require just as much work as extending a 1/2 ton & add extra weight. The 3/4 ton frame would require tons of fab work.
