E-brake shenanigans
Hey guys 95 f150 2wd 5speed with 150k brand new to me.
trying to get the ebraje functional for inspection,
Bought intermediate cable found rears were seized. Bought rears and found i was missing linkage. Installed rears and still short 1.5" from linkage and intermediate so thats fun. . .
BUT WAIT, MORE. . .
after installing rear e-brake cables i noticed left side the spring end of cable in the drum was pushing against the self adjuster (new spring wasnt laying flush against backplate)
i want to say that caused the self adjust to drop from the assembly mid drive getting ground between shoes and drum. . .funnn
Opened it up several times to adjust, then decided to replace shies and springs. . .now in both rear wheels the cable end is pushing against the adjuster. . .my guess is its problematic. Solutions? suggestions?

I had a problem with the aftermarket e-brake cables being too long or too short, or as you stated running against the adjuster.
Only solution I had was to find a set of OEM from a junkyard that weren't seized.
