I have a 1992 ford f150 regular cab i wanted to see if somebody could help me figure out the problem. I have just had my tires and wheels rebalanced . Have not rotated yet. Can not rotate tires for another 250miles tires only have 8750 miles on them and rotated every 5,000 miles. I have 6 farely new ranch 5,000 shocks 4 on the front 2 on the rear. Does anybody have an idea why the truck would be riding so rough. It started tuesday of this week.

Has the weight load changed? (compressed suspension rougher ride).

Grabbing a few straws here.. have you adjusted your shocks in any way? were the wheels machine spin balanced after this started and did they use clip-on weights or glue/stick-on (Ive seen both used)? that said, could have lost a weight on a tire both times. over/under inflated tires, out of round tires (more common in recaps but can happen), seized shock, worn rubber (cab mount, Stabilizer bar bushings and end-links..)

hope some of these help

I was thinking/typing while you were posting... the 1500 rpm is that steady speed, accelerating, or decelerating? What is the recommended tire pressure for your tires?
