it appears that the engine in this truck is from a 74 full size car b4ae is the code behind the starter. from what i understand the 6 bolt valve cover shows that it is a small block windsor and the oversize distributor oil pump drive it is a 351.
I have noticed there is a slight miss at highway speed. octane booster seems to have cleared up most of it. the thing that is bothering me is the points plate is loose inside the distributor and i don't know if i want to fix it or put an electronic magnetic pickup distributor in it. i guess there is a way to wire a gm hei module to a ford duraspark distributor(i've got two sitting around from my kawasaki experiment). any hints or help would be greatly appreciated.
vive la flipped over rebuilt dodge...

no i just changed those out two years ago for the previous owner, i think it may be partly the tires weren't balanced when they were installed.
