Default Engine swap questions

Hey guys, I'm planning on building up a 351w and replacing the 302 in my truck with that. The more research I do, the more questions I have about it. I have a 1995 f150 currently with a 302 in it, and this truck does not have mass air. The engine I have found is an intake to pan, complete 351 out of a 1997 f250. This truck also does not have mass air. Now I have a few questions. I know that I'm going to need to convert to mass air with the engine build I am planning on doing. So what will I need to do to both swap the 351 into my truck and convert it to mass air? I've been reading that I'm going to need a computer to match the 351, so will I need to find a computer that is from a truck that had a mass air 351? Also forgot to mention that my truck has the m5od transmission and the donor truck has the e4od. Thank you guys for any help! I just need this whole swap cleared up as I just get more and more confused whenever I do any research.

1995 should have the 302HO which is the same firing order as a 351.
Yours would be the first 95 302 I've heard of that doesn't have mass air. You're sure about that ?

Yah I'm 100% sure it's not mass air. I was very surprised when I popped the hood when I went to buy the truck a couple years back. It was such a good deal I couldn't turn it down.

I wonder if it has something to do with it being manual transmission. My truck is a '94 302 w/M5OD and it is also speed density. I've done a little research on MAF conversions for my truck and the only cars I have found that work as donor computer cars are similar year mustangs with manual transmissions. Apparently the 302 computer from the mustang will work well with either the 302 or 351.

They also sell kits on ebay - last I checked one for our truck was around $1200, but it includes everything - computer, new injector harnesses and instructions, MAF sensor, new O2 sensors, new air tube, etc. Definitely the easy, but expensive, way to go.

EDIT - Something else to consider - that M5OD is a light/medium duty transmission rated to handle up to about 300hp/300ft/lbs. 351's were never paired up with M5OD's, probably for a reason. That doesn't mean it won't bolt up, but keep that in mind.

It's weird your 95 doesn't have mass air and my 94 5.0 does.

So in order to do the maf conversion I'm going to need a new computer, a new or modified wiring harness, injector harnesses, install a second o2 sensor, and obviously an maf sensor? That sounds pretty do able. Oh and the part about the m5od, I've thought that one through already, my uncle is going to help me tear down the transmission and build that as well to handle the 351 I build to pair up to it. I'm planning on building it for around 500 or so lb/ft of torque.
