My 94 5.0 is throwing a 311 code... any advice on where to start testing to fix this?

 

i've got the same issue. My guess is start checking for vacuum leaks. I think if you pull the vac lines off that tab/tad solenoids you SHOULD feel vacuum going to them with truck running. Hopefully someone will chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

 

What kinda symptoms are u havin?

 

At part throttle in first and second gear i seem to be having bucking/miss issue around 2k rpm

 

Same thing here under 1500 runs like junk

 

Got the 311 code fixed ended up being the yellow vac line leaking

 

Now the truck is back to missing just worse
