Default 1996 4.9L F150 EGR Tube, part number F6TZ9D477-P

I am looking for a EGR tube for a 1996 4.9L F150. The part (F6TZ9D477-P) is specific to the 1996 4.9L so it is hard to find. I have checked all of the major outdated parts vendors with no luck. The shop crushed mine on an engine swap, so there is no rebuilding it. I looked at a EGR delete as an option, but it appears that they only have workarounds and dummy plugs for up to the 1995 model years, 1996 is apparently a unicorn. Any help ideas or leads on this part would be appreciated.

Default Last resort

That may be my last resort, I am a little hesitant in going tat route as in the reading I have done on it, it appears this EGR tube has specific sensor readings that measure pressure over the openings. I also am not sure how bad the shop crushed the old one and if it would be usable or if they still have it.

I'd let THEM find & buy it. And tell them to be quick about it. But until you list EACH of the "major outdated parts vendors" that you checked, we can't know which other ones to suggest.

That pipe is different because it's built for DPFEGR, which was only used on some '95 4.9Ls and all '96 4.9Ls.

Default Outdated parts

Steve83,

The outdated parts places I have tried are:

Green Sales Company
Vintage Parts
PartsVoice
BroncoGraveyard

EBay and Google of course.

The shop is looking for the part, but is also hitting walls. I just am tired of waiting after two months and figured I would start searching myself.

Again any help or advice is appreciated.

Default Wrong part on LMC

Thanks for the suggestion, LMC dose show a part, but unfortunately it’s not the right part. LMC shows an internal part number of 42-6049 and is listed for 4.9L from 87-96. Knowing this was a 1 or 1 and a half year production part I was skeptical. They sent me a picture and it was not the same.
