Sorry for the confusion. Was at home last night and did not have my notes. Ok, looking at installing tow mirrors but I have the 8 pin connector. Look at mirrors with puddles found on amazon, see link below, comes with 22 to 8 pin connector . Reviewed my repair manual and found the following that may make the puddles work.

Connector c501b-left /c652b-right found on door module have wires running to the mirror harness. Pin 10 (VT-GN ) wire is for puddle light. Ok, so if i install a wire from the module connector pin 10 to the wire of the tow mirror for the puddle light Pin 14 (VT-GN) will the puddle like work? May need to activate since I saw in the forscan table that 726-24-02 is for the puddle lights and x*xx-xxxx-xxx=*-0 normal, 1inhibited. In this case, what does inhibited stand for.

Debating on getting tow mirror that have puddle lights. However I have the 8 pin connector so need to get the 22 to 8 adaptor. Now can I power the puddle light by wiring into PIN number 14 of the door connector. (Puddle light pin) C502/c602. Don’t remember the connector but it the one connecting the door harness to the body.

on my 2018 F150 i had regular mirrors. I recently installed aftermarket towing mirrors with 22Pin to 8 Pin connector. I have 4 extra wires that come out of the 22 pin adaptor that connects to the mirror. The aftermarket mirrors have puddle lights. How is the wiring completed to get these working? I have tried looking on youtube and online but can not seem to get a good video. there is a video from 1Aauto, but that video also includes the power fold as well as the spotlight. I only want to connect the running light and the puddle light. I have video of the running lights, but can not seem to find one for the puddle lights. is there a way to run wiring without having a PHD to connect?

 

I'm in a similar situation. 2019 XLT, installing mirrors I bought on Ebay. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/233609196412). They have 8 pin connectors and 3 extra wires for puddle, running and spot lights, and came with wiring to connect them, but no information as to how. Any help would be much appreciated!!
