I helped a buddy install a set of 'em that are round and 6 or 7-inches in diameter.
IIRC they use 55w bulbs, so don't have the lighting capability of say a Ridid LED, but he got pelted with a bunch of gravel roost by some a-hole in front of him who decided to light it up on the trail without thinking of who was behind him(me
), and although he got zillions of paint chips all over his front end(I paid for the damage), the lights made it through w/out problem or damage.
