Default Led bed light

For Christmas my mother in law gave me some Anzo truck bed lights. I want to put the switch in the back of the bed. Do I need to run a wire from the battery all the way back under the truck or can I tie it into some thing in the harness in the back?
The sketch the factory gave is weird, do I ground the wires to the bed?

I am not familiar with a constant power running to the back.

I ran a hot wire/ with fuse all the way back and put in a gravity swith.

Default Just installed my LED lights

Got the lights on Amazon.
Amazon Amazon

I wired them into a constant hot to a switch in the bed. These lights are super bright and easy to install.

Nope. The trailer 12volt is turned off with the ignition. A couple of people have built a jumper to replace the relay in the underhood electrical box to give the trailer 12 volt constant power.
