I'm new to this lighting subject... I want to up grade my 2012 headlights. I have read a few posts stating our headlight housings are terrible.. I'm still undecided what bulbs I want to go with led or hid. What headlight housing should I be looking at? Is projector housing only used for HIDs?

Now adays a good HID kit can work in a halogen housing. You'll get better results with HID/LED in a projector housing however.

Can anyone recommend a good projector headlight for 2009-2014 f150? Most likely will go with an LED bulb.

Sorry all new to me....couldn't I buy a set of Anzo headlights and drop an LED bulb in it? Or is that not the way to go?

Yes you can do that Ncm86... you can buy the anzo headlights and drop in a quality LED kit without any issues. MOST of the folks I'm hearing that upgrade to Anzos go with LED Kits.
