Default Quick question: yay or nay?

Whats going on everyone. I have a quick question.

What at do you think of these lights and how they generally bolt up? My current halo's are being replaced and I wanted to install HIDs in these...

These were the best looking ones I could find. I don't know any other sources besides amazon and ebay..

Look at this on eBay:

those appear to be knockoffs of the spyder headlights. they are available for halogen and hid and the difference matters. they can be had for around $320 from carid among other places.

it's as good as any other off the shelf product. you can upgrade the projectors with better ones if you like. do some research on here. there are tons of threads about them.

I called hem and I'm not sure. They said they don't have any housing that allows HIDs.

The only one they have is a single light and it a dual light for high beams.

Factory halogens run about $250 new.
The factory HIDs run well over a $1000 and over $1500 if you want the bulbs and ballast with them.
Some times you can get used ones for a little cheaper, but they are still expensive.

New, with out bulbs or ballast:

Didnt say he had to buy brand new halogens... I bought a barely used set on craigslist for $50. $450 is plenty to do a retrofit yourself.
