Default Question about headlight adjustment

My truck is a 2015 with standard halogen headlights. I just ordered the SL1 LED bulbs from Dynamic Diodes, and I want to make my best effort not to blind people on the road. I ordered the low beams and high beams. My truck currently has a 6" Superlift lift kit, and 35" tires. I'm wondering if anyone has a similar setup, and if they were successful in adjusting their headlights down to the proper angle. I'm assuming I will have to make some adjustments, especially due to the lift. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

well just try to adjust them where the stock halogens have a cutoff for you right now.

Normally measure from the center of the bulb to the ground and then park 25' away from a wall and on flat ground and the cutoff should be about 2" lower than the measurement on the truck. Since youre lifted, you'll probably have to go more. Start with that and then drive around. The lights should be just below other cars mirrors. If youre behind someone and lights are hitting their rear view mirror, go back and crank them down more.

Thank you! I'll post results in a few weeks when I install the bulbs. They are currently back ordered....

I just put the tape up at point blank in the hottest part of the beam on a wall....then backup 25' and put the top of the cutoff at the bottom of the piece of tape. The Ford Dealership had mine too low and actually had to raise mine after LEDs. I'm not getting flashed since the LEDs have a halogen like light pattern.
You can do your fogs too. They have a Phillips adjuster screw. Do the same thing put the tape in the same spot in the hottest part of the beam at point blank. Then move the tape down 4". Then at 25', put the hot part of the beam on the tape.
