Piaa headlights?
Does anyone run these? I bought some cheap eBay lights with no gelled tip and they're white 9007's but piaa claims double wattage from a 9007 does anyone vouch for those lights? As i am debating spending 60 bucks

Go with Phillips Crystal Vision Ultras, do an ebay search, they are VERY bright and white, with low cost. I have had them in my last 3 trucks, wont run anything else.
Where I got my last set:

I like the Philips halogens.
Had the Xtreme Power in my 2006 for the heads and a basic 9145 in the fogs.
I've recently put the CVUs in my fogs on the '13 and while they aren't as white as the HIDs they sure are pretty bright. Went with a 9145 there too for the extra 5w of output and no heat worries.
I have however heard good things about some of the PIAAs, but they sure are spendy for a halogen bulb that isn't much brighter (output wise) than any of the other good halogens.

The Crystal Visions are good, as are the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras. I've been using the Ultras for years in a few cars with no problems. Had them in the truck until I did the HID update. But, do not believe the claims of wattage "equalivent" 55=100, etc. Yes, they do better than stock but not double. It's in the incased gas and bulb coatings that change the bulb temperature. 55 watts is 55 watts. I've been using PIAA lights and bulbs for years in many cars with no problems. Have the HB ion bulbs in my fogs. Have a set of the RS600 HID shock lamps on my brushguard, crazy bright. A set of the 2100i ion long range foul weather driving lights on the truck and my T'bird. And I just bought a set of the new LP570 "LED" driving lights to put in place of the current RS600 HID's. And not because I don't like them. It's the warm up time of the HID. At times I need to switch them off and back on fairly quickly and that's not good for the HID bulb. The LED lights are instant with no problems. OK, so, I think you'll be OK with the PIAA 9007's, just don't be expecting a double wammy from them.

Great luminance and PIAA has been around for some time and guarantee the bulbs for one year.
