Just wondering if anyone else with the colorshift halos and the 2.0 controller with the infra red remote has issues with it working well. I just installed mine this weekend, and mounted the remote receiving eye on top of my dash in front of the little tray in the dash, and I cant get it to work unless Im in the truck aiming the remote right at it or if im outside the truck reaching over the hhood and pointing it directly at it from at most 2 feet away. I dont know if its me or if the remote is just a POS. Any help would be great.

I've done that but I wanted to find out from some actual users and see where they mounted there sensor and how well its working. I actually ordered the WiFi controller they have so I can use my phone to control it.

 

I have color shift demon eyes and used the controller from superbright led .comno problems yet

 

What's your control box look like. That almost looks like the WiFi controller I just ordered from oracle.
