try finding a new ground for the lights and the switch.
ground the lights to their mounting bolt
then try to find a bare metal dash support inside the cab to ground the switch to

and not all offbrand lights are weak, i didnt like the look of the hellas on my bull bar so i took em off and found some lights at walmart, they are bright as hell too, i can drive down the road with just them on and be fine. you just have to get the wiring right with good grounds

The long range lights came as a pair for $250 in chrome but it's a pretty high end model. They have cheaper versions that work just a great! The driving light version of them would be like 175-200

i had the walmart spotlights on my old 2000 chevy (now sisters truck) they were 20 bucks a piece and worked great did my own wiring harness with a relay and a heavy duty switch i hate those cheap plastic light up switches you get in some of the light kits i break them to easy

dont bash me for posting pics of a chevy okay

they reached out further than my high beams and light the high beam area better and brighter and reflected off of signs a mile away never did the hid swap but i will add hids to the spotlights i put on my f150
