Default OEM Halogen to LED conversion and ?

So I finally received my Morimoto conversion harnesses and installed everything. Love the improved visibility (my 13' had HIDs) and the lookof the special edition HLs on my Magnetic is much improved.

So the question is this. Everything works perfectly, EXCEPT - the Pass side turn signal cycles as it should; however when on, the blinker in the cab (and sound) go double time. Any ideas? Thanks

I've seen a lot of issues with LED conversions but not this one. Do you have the 2nd or 3rd generation harness? the 3rd has a wire that needs to run to the battery direct.

3rd Gen - after a thorough search of the ForScan forum, I'm gonna try the code change tomm and see if that resolves it.

ForScan BCM code change did the trick - all good now. Went ahead and disabled the annoying double honk too.

What did you have to change in the ForScan App? Just an option for LEDs?

you can turn off the hyperflashing that occurs when you change to led bulbs (they draw less current than halogen so the truck thinks the bulb is burned).

O crap, I was thinking along the lines of the LED headlights being the issue. Didn't see it was just the turn signal hyperflash issue.

Was just wanting to know where you bought your oem led lights from? I just bought a 2017 F150 and I'm looking to do the led swap myself. I found set of oem led lights but want to make sure on what all I'm going to need before I pull the trigger. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Did a lot of searching and Tasca had the best prices. You need the headlight assemblies and two ballasts. Then you need a conversion harness set - which in my case came from Morimoto through 4x4truckleds. Both are forum vendors and have discount codes available in their threads.
If you want the SEs (black) like I have I can probably dig up the part numbers if you're interested
