Default Morimoto Tail Light ?? Need help!

For those with the Morimoto XB Tail Lights.
i have a 2020 f150 i purchased them for, and they are a great light and look awesome.
all works great, when the running lights are off.
but with the running lights on the brake, and turn lights, seem to get washed out, to the point it looks unsafe.
do these look unsafe, or if you have a set, do yours have more of a definition between the running and brake lights??
not sure how to add a video so here is a link to my onedrive folder that has them..

tks

Dang! Watched the video. That can't be right! The running lights are so bright, you can't see the brake lights at all.

Hoping someone with these lights will chime in.

Wired incorrectly?

,

shouldnt be, its just plug and play.
i didnt have to do any splices.
connector on truck side plugs in to adapter, two connectors on adapter plug into tail light side.

also Morimoto has seen the videos and said its normal, but seems very dangerous..

I always have my running lights on and the tails are plenty bright. Sounds like a wiring issue.

Been a while but if I remember right theres an additional harness morimoto provides for 18+ tail lights to work properly. I'm assuming you have this?

I do.. i agree with Ecks looks like a wiring issue.. might have to do with your lights under the tailgate .. maybe that's causing the issue .. that's the only difference that is in my setup

i do have the adapter for the 18+.
one of the videos shows my wiring setup.
i tried to unplug the light bar also and same thing.
looks like the setup has two resistors, one wired into the light harness itself and one wired into the adapter.

almost as if your brake lights are getting a small constant voltage making them brighter without actually pressing the brakes (or turn signals).
