Default Looking for brighter lights.

I just installed my new headlights. I'm looking to get brighter lights for them and my fog lights. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It's a 2014 f150.

Thanks. I don't think I can use hids in these lights. I believe their projection lights unless I'm wrong. The brand of them are spyder.

You could use HID or LED...

I'm going to recommend LED lights for your housing. Looks like you have a combination of projection/regular style (pretty common on a lot of aftermarket lights).

The XHP kits I sell are WIDELY popular. You'll need to actually look up the style headlight you are using and find out which bulb size, because the "factory" bulb size is different (factory bulb for your truck is an H13 but you have an aftermarket headlight housing now)

Could you tell me which make/model housing you have? The aftermarket LEDs have a longer bulb and I'd like to check out the back of the headlight housing to ensure it'll fit AND if you need a boot or not.

The LED kits I offer are the brightest on the market right now and will probably outlive the life of your truck. They are also VERY durable. You can freeze these in ice, throw them in water/etc... and they still operate (including the ballast). HIDs need to be babied.

I also have the Morimoto XB LED fog lights on my site (which would fit your truck) OR you could even put an XHP Series LED kit in there (6,000 lumens would match the headlights, 3,000 lumens gives you color options).

PM me if you need help deciding what to get/etc...

theretrofitsource.com has hid projectors specifically for spyder headlights. A little more work intensive, but way to go.

Let me know if you need HID projectors. I'm a dealer for TRS and sell their stuff so I can hook you up.

These kits are geared towards the Spyder headlights produced for cars. The projector mounting for the Spyder truck headlights are different. I may be wrong as I have not seen the mounting for these particular headlights, but have noticed it on a previous build on these lights below.

You are correct. Most of these aftermarket headlights are not meant for HID's in their stock form. Some even have a sticker on them to denote this.
Yes, they do have a projector and you can install HID lights in them but the projector bowl was not designed for HID's.
In the end, its still better to install HID's in cheap aftermarket projectors than OEM halogen housings.
If you absolutely must install HID's. Don't go over a 35w setup.
