LEDs
You can't use led headlights on the road. They wont have any range and you'll blind everybody
Edit: i realize that's not a very helpful comment. First of all, led is a great option for everything but primary headlights for on road use. They just don't have the range and focus needed for that. The cheapest easiest option for headlights is to upgrade to silverstar ultra halogen bulbs. I don't recommend using hid unless you do a projector retrofit. I had hids in my stock housings and they were awful. I finally put projectors in mine and so do a lot of other members and the light output is unmatched (if you wanna be semi street legal). I'm talking about oem quality bi-xenon projectors that require some custom work. You can easily replace every other bulb in the truck with led in the stock housings and it looks really nice. If you replace the signal lights with led you will have to get inline resistors or an electronic controlled signal relay or the truck will think you have a burnt out bulb and you will get a "hyper-flash". I put a new relay in mine and i think its the best way to go. I got all my bulbs from v-leds.com and I highly recommend them.

Go to sylvania's website with your year/make/model info.
http://www.sylvania.com/en-us/applic...s/lrgmain.aspx
Then check out any of 1000 websites for replacements LEDs of that bulb size.
I don't think many of the direct replacement LEDs you'll find will produce more useable light...it's mainly for looks. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of LED options for auxilary lighting that have excellent output; but I haven't been impressed with direct replacements.

They are unsafe and blind traffic, and scatter light all over the road unless done correctly.
