Default HELP with Projector Headlights Please!!

Hi everyone New Guy here.. I just bought a set of Projector headlights for my 97 and they seem to not fit. They dont seem to fit onto the original headlight mounting panel. I did a search for issues but everyone seems to ask about wiring and such, nothing like the problem I'm having. Ill post up pics. Im hoping someone that has these lights can help me out with some tips or advice on what they did. Thank you all and anyone who helps!

Those giant monstrosities sticking out the back appear to be adjustment screws. He has no holes for them to go thru. Worste case scenario that I can tell from looking at this is to drill holes slightly larger than those screws into your core support to allow them to poke thru and reinstall the plastic hardware on them.

It also looks like the metal rod that holds in the factory light is not set up to be on that particular light.

I don't know man. You might want to start looking to slight modification of your truck in order to accomodate those. I personally would NOT change the truck to fit lights. I would return those and get another set.

Also, a close up of the back of the factory light would help a little, too.

Looks to me those are the wrong lights all together. The new ones have the two long adjusting screws, whereas his factory only has one. It doesnt even look like its an adjusting screw. Are some of the one piecers non-adjustable? I think Lenns on the right track. If you want them to work, youre going to need to drill a hole in the core support, and that locking tab. But whos to say thats going to cure everything. If those are the wrong lights you may have other problems. I agree, send them back.

The adjusting screws on the new one should pass through the 2 openings on the truck housing above and below the cutout for the main bulb to protrude thru..All off the edges of the new/old seem to be similar...unfortunately w/o being there I cannot examine further.

To the OP...what part of the new lamp is not fitting or conflicting with the OEM housing?

those 3 screws on the new lights line up with the 3 screws that the original lights have but the main problem is that the part where the projector light is (the one with the red wire sticking out the back) is what keeps the light from fitting in. So it seems i would have to cut a lil on the truck to make it fit.
