Default Help DIY DRL mod

Hi

I have a new 2017 F 150 lariat sport, and I want DRLs. I live in Chile, and we have to drive in the highways with DRL. Here i found no option for some sort of aftermarket kit.

Im planning to install DRLs by myself, just as I did it on my 2013 Toyota 4Runner years ago.

A fused circuit from the battery to the low beams, switched on when the engine starts, will be my DRL circuit. Two extra relais are sensing if the lights are on, and if the shifter is out of park position.

This way, DRLs will be on only if the ligts are off, and if the shifter is moved out of park position.

I have no problem wiring a relay with the parking lights wires, and switching DRLs off if parking lights are on. I did it already

But I need to find a wire who changes state from +12v to 0, or from 0 to +12 (it doesn't matter) when I shift out of park. There has to be such a wire, the starter senses if the shifter is in park position to be able to start the engine.

Another option would be to find a wire who changes state if the shifter is in drive.

I hope someone can help me.

There are no DLR's on the truck, nor programming option for this in the lights menu.
