Default head lights

Any of you guys have the xenon headlights? I found these two links. There is a huge price discrepancy. What do you think. Either I am missing something or one of these is a scam. The one from ebay says it has a wiring harness with it. The other is just bulbs. Do you need extra wiring for these bulbs?

Go with the HID. The bulbs will be very low in light output.

Remeber how blinding the HID's are tho

The higher the K the less bright so to say the lights are. Check THIS site and look at the info on each system.

It says the 6k are 3X's brighter than halogen and 10K is 2X brighter than halogen

I changed my mind about these. If everyone (including my wife) thinks that they are so blinding, then I don't want to be a road hazard... any more than usual.

I agree^.... its always better if you can see the road better but if people in other cars are blinded to where they cant see at ALL its just not safe.

Good decision

If you REALLY want HID you could buy an aftermarket housing with a sharp cut-off line and then install the HID

just buy the 6k kit not blinding at all... all luxury cars have them but the 8k are pretty harsh

All the luxury cars have the sharp cut off line tho. For instance in my moms acura when you drive up to a wall you can see where the lights just stops about 4 feet up the wall. While on our truck the lights goes all over the place lol. That is why the lights are blinding on our trucks with the stock housing.

Another example: When a "Luxury" car hits a speed bump and you see the lights appear to get extremely bright, more than usual, while driving towards them is because the "cut off line" in the housing is now pointed towards the sky and the result is the lights shinning in the oncoming traffics eyes.... This would happen permanently in our trucks since the stock halogen housing doesnt have a cut off line since there is no need for one... since it is meant to be used with halogen bulbs and not HID's.
