Fog lights
2011 F150 Scab
Can you remove and replace just the fog light from the assembly? I'm looking to replace mine but mostly just see the light without the housing for sale. I've had them out before and it looks like it's all one piece. Thanks guys..

So you can't pull the light from existing gousing and use it? Must buy new, empty housing and put lifhts in it? Also..they moatly seem to be 4in lights. But stock are amaller. They work ok?

I think you are confused... your fog light housing has 2 components. The housing itself + a halogen bulb that can be swapped out if it goes bad. Other then that, there is nothing to take out where you can JUST have the light (it's a bulb).
Here are the LED Projector Fogs I was talking about. It replaces your housing BUT has integrated LED bulbs already
You can also do something like this, which is the Baja Designs Kit. You remove the old fog light, install the new bracket + your choice of lights (from Baja Designs)

Clearly we are all confused here. I think you’re asking if you can just replace the bulb without having to change or remove the housing. If that is your question, the answer is yes.
Scroll down a little bit. Might be on the next page by now. But I just replaced my halogen bulb with the Lasfit LD switchback foglights. Easy install. 10 minutes or less and great light output. And the switchback function makes them versatile for bad weather driving as well.

Sooo tough to say. If you get what is in THAT PHOTO... yes... the fog light housing itself is the light portion. It clips into that outter bracket portion (the outer portion is usually installed on your truck already).
What exactly do you need/is your issue?
If you cracked your fog light for example you ONLY NEED the fog light assembly itself, NOT the bracket.
Bulb goes into fog light housing.
Fog light housing attaches to the fog light bracket.
Whenever you buy fog lights online you 99/100 DO NOT get the bracket, just the fog light assembly (as the bracket is a separate component)

LOL.. Looks like maybe semantics was the problem. Thanks guys! I think I got it figured out now. The reason I wanted to change out my fog lights with a different set of Lights. Is because I but Nightshade on them about a year ago and they're turning purple now. I also did that to my headlights. But have since bought new ones and now want some fog lights to match the headlights. Trying to bring the front end up-to-date. Anyways.. Thanks for being patient with me, and thanks for your help!

Yeah you just need to buy new fogs. Don't worry about brackets or any of that. You can buy regular OEM fogs OR grab CrystaLux LED Projector Fogs or the Morimoto XB LED Fogs which have integrated LED diodes already.

From the backside, remove the adjusting screw and spring completely. Then go to the front of the truck and use a Philips (straight blade) screwdriver about halfway up on each side. There's a little tab that you can press on that will pop one side loose. Do that on each side of the fog light and then you'll be able to remove the light from the housing. Pop it out towards the front of the truck.
