Default Fog lights

I've got a 2015 F150 and I have the LED headlights and I was wondering if I should buy the aftermarket LED fogs or a HID kit for them. Has anyone tried the aftermarket LED or HID kits and if so what color temp?

Morimoto makes an LED fog light assembly specifically for the 2015+ F150. they will perform infinitely better than a cheap HID kit.

Ok thanks a lot. I'll look into it. Are they hard to install?

No. I have them and they are great.

Get the Morimoto LED fogs. $200

LOTS of info / posts / instructional videos etc in the 2015 section.

The Chinese HID kits are GARBAGE.

I'm running Opt7 6000K HID's for high and low beams, as well as Sirius 9005 LEDs for the fogs. The Morimoto fog kits are well respected, though $200 isn't in the budget for everyone. Although those kits will perform better, you'll see a noticeable improvement by simply swapping out the fog bulbs with a $25 pair of 9005 LEDs. That takes less than a minute per side to swap. The headlights are a pain in the rear to upgrade as Ford decided to require removal of the entire headlight assembly or wheel well liners (complete with rivets designed by satan) to access the bulbs. Plan on spending at least an hour if you want to upgrade your headlights.

Ram decided to do the same stupid thing.....along with removing the grill

On another note....I've been running a morimoto kit for my heads along with an ebay fog kit for about 8 months now. No issues just in case anybody doesn't want to or can't drop $200+ for a fog kit.

I have a set coming for my truck too. Ford F150 Fog Lamp LED Kit VFL3Z-15200-C. The truck does have a nice warm tone to it when lights are on in my opinion. Its just too bad the lumens are not there in the fog light. The led kits does a total of 2400 lumens where OEM does only half that.

They are quite impressive no doubt but pretty hefty tag on them. What's the model number of the ones you have
