Default Dust Caps

Anyone have tips/tricks/suggestions for a good way to handle running wires thru the extended dust caps? The new LED bulbs I put in my truck require CANBUS adapters, so need to get the wires thru. I put a slit in the cover and pushed the wire thru. Now, obviously, this now creates an opening for water/dust to get in. So, looking for some suggestions on what others have done.

What vehicle? Measure the opening and grab a set of extended dust boots or caps off Amazon or eBay. On my 2018 stock headlights, I ordered a set of 83mm caps, stretched them a bit before install and they popped on just fine. Gives the LED bulbs in there a bit more room.

Sorry...got past this a few years ago. Wound up replacing the headlight buckets to go full LED. LOL

artsr2002 you were right on for size 83mm for 2019 F150, Thanks. A little small and you need to work it on but it needs to be tight. I purchased LEDs with fan so I wanted more room too besides it not being centered in the circle. I purchased this set on Amazon -
4 Caps 4 Caps
.
Not heavy duty but gets the job done. No inner piece so it doesn't hit the fan.
