Dome light question

Have a 2013 STX RCSB, and am wanting to put LED lights in the interior. I took the cover off, and I can assume that these are the same as what would be in the back of a SCrew? Does anyone know what size? Is it as simple as measuring the overall length?

I installed the putco 231175, according to bulbtown.com they are festoon 1.75" bulbs.

that is not the same dome light as a SCrew... wish I had that one

Lol, yes its same dome that comes in a Screw Noob, this is the dome found in Screws WithOut a Moonroof.... If you have a Moonroof your dome light has 1 bulb only no extra 2 reading lights like non moonroof Screws...

OP, You need a 42 mm Festoon led for those bulbs x3:thumbsup

Heres a look at the 42 mm Led Festoons I used in my Screw... Very Bright...

Pics... Also they're 9 50/50 SMD leds's! Like Daytime, when all three are on...

What brand are those bulbs and where did you get them? I am seeing tons on amazon, but I dont want something cheap that will not be bright.

With the lens cover on mine it measures 7 & 7/8 X 3 & 7/8! What does yours measure?

I actually got mine on Ebay the rest Int./Ext. Came form SuperBright/SuperPricey, I bought 6 in case each should parish! Cost was like $20 for 6, so far little over a yr on them and still using original 3!

Just be sure to get a 42 mm festoon with no less than 8-9, 50/50 SMD leds... That will Assure maximum Brightness!
